While MA do indeed have a great guitarist, I don't think anyone round here would complain if Liam were to guest on slide guitar for a song or two, like he did on Breathing Space's album.

Radiohead used one on some of their albums. Can't hear it on 'In Rainbows' though... I'm only just getting used to the sound of that album. I was rather shocked to find that I'd played it from start to finish the other day!

I can't see the point of having a guest guitar player when Mostly Autumn already have a perfectly good one of their own. How about if they have Dave Gilmour, Kate Bush, Carl Palmer, Jon Lord and Chris Squire playing one song? ....er, no thanks, I want to hear Mostly Autumn (I'll wait for that other supergroup to record their own album

Agreed on Rothery that guitar he laid down on The Reasonings "Within Cold Glass" is just the dogs do-dahs, Understated, huanting, pitch, tone and timing perfect and right on the money in my opinion. I wouldn't be supprised to learn that that was a "one taker" it has that feel about it just like the moog solo on ELP's "Lucky Man", now THAT was a "One Taker"

So, the band are working on 'Glass Shadows'. Wonder what we'll get this time. I was thinking about how most albums MA albums have 'special guests'. Wonder who we'll get this time...

I love Chris Leslie's fiddle playing on 'Passengers', and indeed with Fairport Convention, and think it would be great if he were to come and play on the odd track again. He's also the nicest man in the universe!! Also, I'd love to see someone like Steve...

I had the impression that 'Passengers' was sort of a concept album in that the songs were linked by the idea that we're all passengers on this earth spinning through space. But I might be wrong. And no, I wasn't under the influence of any nefarious substances

Just a little part from Belgium: it will be great if for a futur cd, Mostly made a concept album. I think, when i heard all of them, the band have the possibility to made it with good stuff. "Lord of the rings" was for me, not finished and not work deeply (sorry, it's my opinion). When i heard "The Gap is too wide", or others "epic songs", they can do it... they must do it!!! But it's just one vision from a little belgian man! Have a nice day
