Superb final gig of the tour last night at Norwich Arts Centre. A warm and muggy evening and a real roaster out in the crowd...and MA
turned up the heat even more!
Took a bit of band effort to get the crowd going but, sure enough, get 'em going they did and by the time we'd reached the astonishing "Above The
Blue" Heather received rapturous applause, cheers and the obigatory rock n roll "woos" of approval. Heather was sensational and has really
mastered and honed her stage presence into an art form. A sheer joy to watch and of course to listen to. Bryan peeled out those wonderful solos and balanced
the power with some lovely delicate playing. Faultless! Love this lineup of the band and will miss it when it changes but then, whichever lineup MA field us
they're always good.
Only song not played from the tour setlist, I think, was "Pocket Watch".
Not many of the hardcore 'usual suspects' there - spotted Taxi guy and that chap who jumps up and down throughout the gig - he's on one of their
live DVD's too! Were you there Rog?
Sensational band and really can't understand why some influetial TV type can't happen to be in the audience one of these days and pick up on the
excellent production MA give their audience.

Great gig as you say Gdog,( will have to say hi next time). Mostly Autumn always put on a good show at Norwich but think last night rates as one of the best.
The sound was spot on, ignoring a few feed back problems.
I think the best sound I've heard at a mostly gig ( I've been to about 30 now) was at Cambridge Junction last Christmas, I really hope they play there again soon. Roll on Cambridge Rock Fest, see a few of you there. Pete |

Another great gig and agree this was one the best of the half dozen or so I've seen in Norwich.
Looking forward to Cambridge in August.

I agree with all the above comments. Another terrific performance by a band that are simply on fire.This has been a really fine tour. i really hope that we can get to hear a Live Album from this tour, it's hard to imagine a better line up and better performances In Norwich, Heather was mesmerising again: she has become a consummate lead singer. Above The Blue was awesome, and for me the final bars to Carpe Diem were spine tingling....she was really letting go. I also thought Iain was in particularly fine form all night......but then when isn't he I guess? And looked particularly cool with Anne Marie's shades at the start of the second set!. I don't know how Bryan is going to condense the set for Cambridge but lets hope they get a more than fair time slot this time...they'll blow anyone away Nice to meet so many friends again and spend some time with the band too.
