Whilst I too agree that the concept of "too much of Heather" is something alien to us I think that we may have picked up too much on the idea that
Livvy or Anne-Marie take a larger share of the vocals.
If I am reading the original post correctly, the point being made was that the balance of the set in the first half gave too much prominance to Heather at the
expense primarily of Bryan when it came to the vocals. Now, I wasn't there so I can't really comment with any authority but I suspect that the
arguement is one of balance in the set. I think most of us would admit that Bryan isn't one of rock's great vocalists but he does know how to deliver a
MA song to great effect !
I think that the point being made by someone not as familiar with the band as most on this forum is that to their ear's , good though Heather's vocals
are, for someone new to the band the set would have benfitted from mixing the songs so that there was more variety to the vocals.
I am not saying that I agree with the comment as I think that Heather has developed a number of different voices over the years to reflect the differing
styles of the songs. However, if we want to attract new fans to the band it is always useful to have an opion of someone fresh to the band as they will hear
the band with different ears :>)
