Hi,
After seeing them on Sunday at a cozy festival in Roosendaal (Fantasfetsival), with knights, trolls, goblins, dragons and more weird people i'm looking out to the Dutch X-mas dates.
It was the first time this werd festival took place, on Friday thay had Moya Brennan, on Saturday; Reincarnatus (a female band from the lovely South), Stream of Passion (Ghotic) and Mostly Autumn.
On Sunday... some small bands and our friends of York.
17 december Perron55 Venlo, € 15,00 http://www.perron55.nl/
18 december De Boerderij Zoetermeer, € 20,00 http://www.cultuurpodiumboerderij.nl/
19 december Hedon Zwolle, € 17,50 http://www.hedon-zwolle.nl/
20 december The Spirit of 66 Verviers € 20,00 http://www.spiritof66.be/
Free tickets @ http://www.mostlypink.net
The band was on fire, there wasn't much crowd, but the band played if they were standing at the Murray Stadium somewhere in the heighlands.
Some fabulous, new solo's of Bryan who flabbergasted me again. Flowers for Guns was such a song were BJ did some amazing things.
Heather had the looks and the voice to bewitched the crowd, Iain freaking and smiling behind his keys.
Gavin had eaten gunpowder and rocked on a Dutch way, mmm or was it because his girlfriend was watching?
Anyway the band was indeed on fire with everyone doing some excepional things.
Bryan stole the show again, with his solo's sometimes a bit bluesy but overall impressive, and behind and next to him a great band, beautiful voices and some excellent musicians.
Fleedwoodmac last Wednesday in Antwerpen was cool, but this band steals your heart.
The first time (that i witnessed) that he band didn't played "Heroes", me and my daughter were happy for that.
Songs a lot; Evergreen, Pass the Clock, Mother Nature, Simple Ways, Fading Colours and more.....
The setlist of Saturday was:
Fading Colours,
Caught in a Fold
Flowers for Guns
Unoriginal Sin
Spirit II
Simple Ways
Half the mountain
Evergreen
Dark by Dawn
Answer Q
Carpe Diem
Heroes never Die.....
See you in the LowLands,
Have a nice week!
