Mostly Autumn - Storms Over Still Water (This is probably going to get me into trouble, but it struck me how much better sonically it is compared to the last
two albums - can the next one sound as good as this please?)
Breathing Space - Below the Radar (Superb piece of work) Parade - The Fabric (Took a few listens to get into this one, but when it clicks it's well worth it) Spock's Beard - The Kindness of Strangers (Real Mellotron and real Hammond B3; only the best is good enough) Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties

For the past few days I have listening to The Beatles remasters, in both mono and stereo. EMI have done an excellent job on both the audio & packaging.
Also got Pass The Clock this week, and again I am most impressed by the quality of the mastering. Great work Mr Josh and associates. Much better value than the Beatles Mono Box... £200.00 for 11 CD's!!! Someone is taking the p*ss. |

Breathing Space - Below the Radar. Definitely an album of the year candidate, and 2009 has been a good year.
Epica - The Divine Conspiracy. The Bad Shepherds - Yan Tan Tethera Methera. Troy Donockley on great form. Fish - Fellini Days. Two-thirds of a good album, pity about the muddy production. King Crimson - The Power to Believe. The Mars Volta - Octohedron. Not as good as Classic Rock Presents Prog claim it to be, but the song "Twilight is my Guide" is a gem
